Stacey Chambers | Young People's Group Work Manager
Stacey has been full-time since October 2008 and currently has several key roles within the organisation including Young People's Group Work Manager, City Living with Teenagers Co-ordinator, Parent Volunteer Co-ordinator and has helped developed our peer-mentor scheme.
Stacey worked in schools for nine years supporting students and families in removing barriers to learning. She has a qualification in teacher training, an NVQ Level 4 in social work with families, and various certificates in different accredited parenting programmes. Over the years she has delivered a variety of different parenting groups across the City to a diverse range of parents and carers. She is also involved in delivering the Centre's accredited training and to other professionals.
It has always felt like I have been part of a family rather than it being just a workplace and I thoroughly enjoying working here, it's a very supportive place to work and I feel very fortunate. I am very passionate about all our group work programmes and most of all I LOVE working with families and empowering them to make positive changes!!!
